Quote of Note: “Time changes everything except something within us which is always surprised by change.” – Thomas Hardy.
**A note about aspects. The following list gives you the day the aspect is mathematically exact, but effects are often felt a day before or a day after. With very strong aspects, such as Stations or Eclipses, we may see events several days before exactitude and later when other planets re-trigger those marker degrees. Aspects affect you personally the most if they connect closely to planets or points in your chart. Contact your astrologer for individualized interpretations.
8. 5/18/24 – A day with 2 key aspects:
-- Venus/Taurus conjunct Uranus/Taurus @ 23deg. – Surprises in relationships or what we “prize.” We might feel a disconnect or need distance in order to understand our rightful “place” in the scheme of things. We may want to change our position or take issue with the nature of our relationships. Groups gather around mutual support of values in order to make greater impact.
-- Sun/Taurus conjunct Jupiter/Taurus @ 28deg. – Jupiter’s last conjunction with the Sun for another 12 years. Conjunctions being a merging, we must ask what the large events and situations in our world truly mean. Is the “big” situation or event good for us in the long run? Will it endure? What are the values that are described by the event and can we align ourselves with them or not. Remember how valuable your own “light” is in the world and the spark and effect you have. Support the values that make things better and shun those that are merely self-serving or greedy. Stubborn entrenchment is always at issue and we must decide whether it’s worthwhile or if compromise is the better path.
9. 5/19/24 – Sun/Taurus sextile Neptune in mutable, water Pisces @ 29deg. – Implying ease and the desire for comfort and relaxation, these planets seek rejuvenation. Both at the end of their signs they must reach a conclusion: comfort for some or comfort for all. What is our responsibility to the collective? Is our willingness to be compassionate combined with reality and supportive activity. Refuse to be confused by shiny objects.
