Jupiter Entering Cancer & L.A.

6/8/25 - On the eve of Jupiter’s entry into Cancer (6/9/25 @ 5:02PM EDT), protests are happening in Los Angeles, CA. The Trump administration deployed approximately 2,000 National Guard to control the protests, against the wishes of the Governor of CA, Gavin Newsom, who said his own law enforcement was effectively handling the situation. Bypassing the Governor of the State is against the law and States rights, except in dire situations.
On Friday massive immigration arrests were conducted - without warrants or names for those to be arrested and again with no due process. This event started the protests against ICE tactics and was exacerbated by the deployment of the National Guard.
On Sunday 6/8/25, Mercury entered Cancer in advance of Jupiter and is triggering the significance and energy of Jupiter’s sign change. Both planets are important in the chart of the United States. Both planets signify a return to their USA birth position. Mercury returns once a year but it takes Jupiter 12 years to return to its place in the birth-chart of a person or a nation, making Jupiter’s transit much more important.
Additionally, Jupiter is the USA chart ruler because it rules its Sagittarius Ascendant and therefore makes Jupiter a VIP planet.
The events in L.A. and the the President federalizing the National Guard and bypassing the Governor of CA, (which has not happened since 1965 when President Lyndon Johnson deployed the National Guard to protect civil rights demonstrators in Alabama), is an escalation.
With the USA Jupiter return, we, the people of the country, will be actively questioning who we are as a country, our identity, what the rule of law means and whether we will adhere to our Constitution. The President has also threatened to send in 500 Marines and invoke the Insurrection Act.
As of this writing the situation is tense but under control. We are also feeling the heightened energy of the approaching Full Moon in Sagittarius (the USA Ascendant sign and Donald Trump’s Moon) exact on 6/11/25 @ 3:44AM EDT. And…this Full Moon triggers the USA Mars @ 21 Gemini. It’s a potentially volatile situation. Let’s hope things don’t get out of control.
