11. 6/20/25 – Summer Solstice: The Sun enters Cancer @ 10:42PM EDT. – Once more our Earth’s relationship to the Sun changes and we tilt closer to the Sun, welcoming Summer in the Northern Hemisphere. Oh, joyous days of warm weather, outdoor play, barbeques, swimming, less clothing and Sun warming our skin (not too much though and with sunscreen!) The Solstice is a doorway, a portal to redirect ourselves to the comforts that we crave and need in our lives and the human connections that sustain us. Cancer is ruled by the Moon which represents mother, history, our roots, our sense of belonging and the peace that comes from feeling safe, accepted, fed and sheltered.
