Emanating from the constellation Perseus, the Perseid Meteor showers are typically the most prolific of the year and they peak this weekend 8/11-12/24. Although you are likely to continue to see streaks for a few days past this weekend. Find a dark location with a clear sky and you may see as many as 50-100 meteors streaking across the sky. It’s a fabulous sky show to behold. Go as far North as you can for best viewing – an area with trees to block any lights.
