Quote of Note: “The basic tool for the manipulation of reality is the manipulation of words. If you can control the meaning of words, you can control the people who must use the words.” - Philip K. Dick

Key July Phenomena: Neptune Retrograde, Venus enters Gemini, Uranus enters Gemini, Saturn Retrograde, Mercury Retrograde.

This month has very important planetary changes which means we are all required to recalibrate our position and our actions, remain alert to changes within ourselves and ways to make life work more effectively based on an individual drive to succeed, while also understanding the implications of governmental policies and how those affect all of us as we are immersed in and part of the same collective environment. We the people…

**A note about aspects. The following list gives you the day the aspect is mathematically exact, but effects are often felt a day before or a day after. With very strong aspects, such as Stations or Eclipses, we may see events several days before exactitude and later when other planets re-trigger those marker degrees. Aspects affect you personally the most if they connect closely to planets or points in your chart. Contact your astrologer for personal interpretations.

2. 7/4/25 – The Fourth of July! And a day with 3 aspects:

-- Venus in fixed, earth Taurus conjunct Uranus/Taurus @ 29deg. – The days around the Fourth of July promise to contain intense emotions especially in the current political climate as we are reminded of everything our country stands for. Venus is strong in its home sign and the pleasures of life, including enough money not only to survive but to enjoy extra pleasures that make life more comfortable and bearable. With Venus conjoining Uranus at the last degree of Taurus, there are likely to be disruptions that pertain to money or other important resources to manage livelihood. The urge to be free from constraints is high as is the definition of freedom itself. Uranus often brings reversals and controversy or unexpected circumstances into the mix that upsets Venus’ typical desire for balance. This aspect rejects peace at any price and the excessive constraints of convention.

-- Venus enters mutable, air Gemini. – Here Venus prefers to dish and gossip. This loquacious Venus seeks to mingle and socialize and always has something to say about everything. A turn of the phrase, a clever anecdote, sharing the minutiae of our lives with plenty of laughter and lightness, this is what Venus/Gemini loves. The downside is avoiding the heavy stuff and distracting, ignoring or detouring around difficult conversations. Reading, writing, connecting with others, priding itself on being cool and informed and short-distance or mini-travels are favorite activities of this Venus. For clever conversations or help with endless ideas for writing a fun book, this Venus has that sort of energy. Like tennis, Venus/Gemini enjoys bouncing quips and retorts back and forth in its quick-witted way and its silver-tongued retorts. A steady stream of consciousness narrative though can be too much after a while. Enjoy the lightness and banter as we surely need diversions.

-- Neptune in cardinal, fire Aries Station Retrograde @ 2deg. – Our second slowest planet takes its turn to make a first Retrograde Station in its new sign of Aries. Pluto, our slowest planet is already retrograde (since 5/4/25). Neptune in Aries is a new paradigm for all of us alive today because it hasn’t been in the sign Aries for 164 years. That time was the beginning of the Civil War, the formation of the Confederacy with 11 States seceding from the Union. Abraham Lincoln had just been elected President.
